Friday Read!

Hi Everyone! Well today is Friday and it is my book/magazine buying day! I saw this book a few weeks ago in Joanne Fabric and didn't buy it; well you know I went back and it was gone!! Today I found it in Books a Million and grabbed the only copy.

It has a real homey feel to it and lots of domestic tips inside. Of course you can see I'm ready with my glasses and coffee

I checked out TJ Maxx and found this adorable mini cake stand which already had the red ribbon through it. The ceramic apples I'm always moving around!

I think we all know why I have this adorable guy sitting in front of me! Just a Reminder!!!

Well my coffee is getting cold and I'm craving something sweet.  The sun is streaming through my kitchen and I can see dust everywhere but it is my day off  and I am about to enjoy the rest of it!

Hope you all have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Jeannette

I love books! That one looks like a good one! I picked up a couple on the clearance rack at Archiver's today. Now I have a bunch of ideas...I can keep myself busy for months! LOL!

Enjoy your weekend!!!! You deserve it and have some of those yummy donuts for me from that cute glass jar with the red lid! Those are my favorite donuts!

Hugs!

Hi Jeanette!!

The book looks like the kind I like to read. I jotted the name down, I wonder if Amazon has it. I don't dare go to any bookstores because I already have so many I haven't even opened! lol!!

I LOVE the little cake plate. I haven't been to TJ Maxx or Marshalls in a long time. I always buy more than I need there too. I am hopeless!!

Enjoy your day! :-)

What a precious little pig and I love your cake stand. You always find the neatest things, Jeannette.

Best wishes for a happy weekend doing things you want to do instead of things you have to do.

Hi Jeannette, I have to see if I can find this book. Wooo hooo.

Just got back from being gone all day. Did some shopping in Lobby Hobby, in another city, and oh my.....I made a haul. It is definitely a sickness, don't you think?

Hope your weekend is great.

I was just eyeing the Simple Country Wisdom book the other day! Do you think it's worth buying?

I love that you have that adorable piggy next to the doughnuts. I love those powdered sugar doughnuts with a cup of coffee. That's heaven to me. :)

I laughed reading your comments about the Cottage of the Month. Is that house to die for or what? It's one huge cottage but the pretty homey touches are so nice.

Hi Jeanette....Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the encouraging words on knitting. I did get a little frustrated because they were trying to teach the "continetal" style and apparently I already knew the "ENGLISH" style! Well, I am staying with the style I know and now I am a little happier. One of these days I hope to post a scarf that I have finished! Have a great day!~Patti

Hi there, it looks like a good book, I hope you enjoyed your day off. You had left me a comment about the pic frame/chalkboard and I wanted to let you know that I was able to change the message on it without a problem and so far so good with the cardboard but it is pretty thick. Have a great weekend!

Jeannette, I couldn't find an e-mail address for you, so I'm answering your question here. Telling someone that their breath is "bad" is certainly not an easy thing to do. Lord have mercy! You might leave some toothpaste & mouthwash on their desk, or maybe keep offering mints to that person. However, those hints probably won't work. You simply have to speak with them, being very discreet and kind. Let them know their breath is not fresh and dentist recommend brushing your teeth and tongue at least two times a day. We all have eaten food or drank beverages that left our breath...well, "unpleasant." Let the person know that YOU would want to know if this were YOU. You might even say that it has happened to you before...that way the person may not feel so embarrassed. Simply said, if it's a chronic issue, it must be addressed. Good luck!

Sweet Jeannette~ I'm strolling in to catch up and especially to wish you and your loved ones a Happy Thanksgiving!
It's such a wonderful time to stop and reflect on all those we cherish and are truly grateful for.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to visit and leave feeling inspired!

Even though our Thanksgiving is very small in number, with hubby and son (we don't count the cat cause she doesn't like turkey). We don't scrimp on the menu...from appetizers to desserts with several carb loaded dishes in between! We will be enjoying tryptophan playoffs too!

Sweet Holiday wishes,
Sara
